Young Basketball Players Competition Started in Turkmenistan

On Thursday, the Basketball Championship of Turkmenistan among boys and girls under 16 years old started in the city of Mary. Men's and women's teams from all five provinces, as well as from the capital of Turkmenistan, participated in the competition.

The winner teams of the Championship will form the core of the national team of Turkmenistan to participate in various international basketball competitions.

The matches of the Championship of Turkmenistan will be held in accordance with the rules of the National Basketball Federation, as well as the International Federation FIBA.

The championship will be completed on December 27. The matches of this tournament will be refereed by Bakhtiyar Ibragimov - international class referee of FIBA federation.
