Turkmenistan discussed education issues with the delegation of Great Britain

On November 13, Ashgabat hosted a meeting with the British delegation headed by Denisa Waddingham, Director of the British Consulate in Tashkent. The Turkmen side was represented by Azat Ataev, Deputy Minister of Education. The British delegation came to visit higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, meet with representatives of state educational departments and English teachers.

During the conversation, the parties discussed topical issues of cooperation in the field of higher education, including educational programs that include obtaining a double diploma. The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the conditions of IELTS - International English Language Testing System (IELTS) tests in Turkmenistan. This English language test is accepted in more than 11 thousand organizations around the world.
