The Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan held regular Turkmen-German consultations

Another round of Turkmen-German consultations was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on January 27, 2023. This is reported in the online publication "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age.

The Turkmen delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Vepa Hajiyev. The German delegation, which arrived in Ashgabat on an official visit, was headed by Matthias Lüttenberg, Commissioner for Central Asia, Caucasus and Eastern Europe of the German Federal Foreign Office.

The discussion focused on current issues of bilateral partnership on a wide range of topics.

The parties exchanged views on the political processes taking place in both countries, paid attention to the elaboration of important issues of trade and economic partnership and discussed partnerships within the framework of regional and international organizations.

Delegates noted the importance of strengthening cooperation in foreign trade, investment, industry, and the cultural and humanitarian spheres.
