Exhibition in memory of victims of natural disasters opened in Ashgabat

A new exhibition dedicated to the memory of victims of natural disasters and wars opened in the State Museum of Fine Arts in Ashgabat. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Atageldy Myalikgulyev, a resident of Ashgabat, who survived the Ashgabat earthquake as an infant, spoke. His family was lucky: their house survived and the family members were not injured.

The exposition presents paintings and sculptures by Turkmen artists. The horror of a person trapped in the elements is reflected in the paintings by artist Toimammet Esenmammedov. The exhibition also presents the work "Why Are You Crying, Mother?" by Aikhan Hajiyev, the painting "Geoktepi Battle" by Yakub Annanurov and the canvas "1941" by Kulnazar Bekmuradov, which will leave no one indifferent.
