Young surgeons from the S.A. Niyazov Medical Center in the capital of Turkmenistan have successfully performed several kidney transplants this year. These high-tech surgeries require doctors to be highly skilled because of the high number of possible complications. According to the center, its staff thoroughly prepared for these procedures: they underwent training both in Turkmenistan and abroad, and organized specialized medical conferences.
The success of kidney transplants performed this year demonstrates the growing professionalism of the young generation of doctors of Turkmenistan in performing such complicated operations as organ transplantation. This is a very positive sign for the development of high-tech medicine in the country.
