According to the report of B. Atdayev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the supervised ministries and departments have achieved positive dynamics in the first quarter of 2023. This was reported by the news agency "Turkmenistan Today".
Atdaev reported that the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations fulfilled the plan for trade turnover by 116.2%, and for production by 108.2%.
The success of the textile industry was also noted, with the fulfillment of the plan for cotton yarn production at 107.1%, cotton fabric at 114.4%, garments and knitwear at 101.6%, and leather at 118.4%.
The State Association Türkmenhaly ensured fulfillment of the plan on production of carpets by 114.2%. The plan for the production of agricultural and food products was fulfilled by 122.7%, industrial products by 107.2%.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry held 3 exhibitions and 13 forums in the first three months of the year. The State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan concluded 7,366 contracts for the first quarter of 2023.
