The Russian Federation will host a series of events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi. The events will be organized by the organizing committee of the VIII Moscow International Festival of Arts "Sounds of Dutar" named after Nury Halmamedov. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
During the year, Russia will host the International Literary Recitation Contest "Universe of the Word", an art contest of illustrations to Makhtumkuli's poems "Reflection", a contest of composers "Musical Works on the Poems of Makhtumkuli Fraghi", a contest of projects "Seeds of Wisdom: Lessons of Great Minds", International Scientific and Practical Conference "Makhtumkuli and his role in the world culture", grand gala concert, where the mono-opera "Monologues of Makhtumkuli Fraghi" by composer Mammad Huseynov will be performed.
