Interest in the development of strategic relations between China and Central Asian countries has been gaining momentum in recent years. The IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held an expanded forum of think tanks in the "China+Central Asian countries" format.
The experts vividly presented their program for the development of China's relations with the countries of Central Asia. The rector of the IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan detailed the prospects for Turkmen-Chinese cooperation in his report.
Central Asia is a powerful region generously endowed with vital energy sources, which leads to the importance of these countries in the system of international relations.
The Chinese leadership has shown a keen interest in the forum held by Turkmenistan. The trade turnover between the Central Asian countries and China is increasing year by year. Only in recent years of cooperation it has increased by 100 times. There are real prospects that in 5-6 years the mutual trade turnover will reach 65-70 billion US dollars and transit along the Great Silk Road will revive.
Both sides of the forum are interested in the development of the countries in three areas: the development of energy, transport and the political sphere.
