At a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on January 13, the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan presented to Serdar Berdymukhamedov a draft Foreign Ministry work plan for the year 2023. This was reported by Turkmenistan: The Golden Age.
The draft plan seeks to continue the country's commitment to permanent neutrality, to help achieve sustainable development goals, and to enhance diplomatic cooperation with various states. The draft plan provides for a range of activities to strengthen partnerships with interested states.
Rashid Meredov singled out economic cooperation as a priority area, envisaging the strengthening of intergovernmental cooperation in the format of bilateral meetings of special groups, increasing the investment attractiveness of the country, expanding the interest of foreign companies in exports from Turkmenistan.
