Online training on UN preventive diplomacy was held in Ashgabat

Ashgabat, July 9 - Arzuw.news. The UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia organized an interactive online training for the candidates of the 2025 Academy of Preventive Diplomacy in the capital of Turkmenistan. This is reported by Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

The educational program was aimed at actively engaging young people in peace and security work. The event brought together young leaders from Central Asia and Afghanistan as part of the global Women, Peace and Security program.

The training was held in the anniversary year of the 25th anniversary of the UN Security Council Resolution on Women, Peace and Security. Participants discussed the practical implementation of the Women, Peace and Security program in the region, as well as the relationship between the Women, Peace and Security and Youth, Peace and Security programs.

During the consultations, the work of dialogues of women leaders of Central Asian countries under the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia was presented.
