Pupils of specialized secondary school No. 87 of Ashgabat with profound study of foreign languages took the second and third places in the international online English language competition. The contest was held under the aegis of web portal Anglius, which specializes in holding intellectual competitions in Shakespeare's language among schoolchildren, students and teachers in Russia and the CIS. This is reported by the Neutral Turkmenistan daily newspaper.
Davut Allalyev took second place in the online English competition, and Shirmyrat Geldiev took third place on the symbolic podium.
The winners of the International Mathematics Online Olympiad "World Mathematics Team Championship", which was attended by students from 17 countries of the world, have recently become known. According to the results of the intellectual competition, the 1st place was taken by Rejepmammad Byabishev, a student of secondary school 87 from Turkmenistan.
Earlier, high school students Selbi Orazgeldyeva and Aknur Garlyeva won gold medals at the World Young Biologist Olympiad (WYBO), and the 9th grader Mahriban Shohradova won silver at the same school.
