Road Safety Month started in Turkmenistan

Road safety events are taking place

Turkmenistan has launched the annual month "Road Safety - Peace of Mind of Our Lives", which will last until September 30. This initiative was proposed by Hero-Arkadag in 2013 and is being implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the publication Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

A large-scale set of educational activities has been organized as part of the month. Special lessons are held in schools, colleges and kindergartens, and thematic conferences and seminars are organized in ministries and agencies to improve the literacy of drivers and pedestrians.

Special emphasis is placed on working with the younger generation, who are taught from an early age the importance of obeying traffic rules. Uniformed services, including bicycle patrols, are regularly on duty on the country's roads, and police traffic wardens work hard to enforce the rules in the vicinity of schools and educational institutions.

In parallel with educational activities, the white marble capital is actively building and modernizing its road infrastructure to high international standards. Modern wide roads, bridges, ground and underground crossings, interchanges at complex intersections are being created.

The city of Arkadag has implemented advanced technological solutions: modern lighting systems, video surveillance, traffic management, intelligent transportation system and dedicated lanes for public transport.

Organizers emphasize that safety on the road is the personal responsibility of each road user.
