As Alla Manilova, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, reported at the session of the fourth international conference "Russian Theater Abroad as an Institute of Russian Culture", Russian theaters from 10 countries will receive financial support. The source of funding is an autonomous non-profit organization "Russian Seasons". This is reported by the news agency TASS.
The Turkmen capital is home to the Pushkin Russian Drama Theater, which will also receive assistance to address infrastructural issues. Financial assistance will amount to 10 million rubles, 5 of which are allocated for equipment, 5 - for productions.
Russian theaters located in Abkhazia, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and North Ossetia will also receive funds.
