The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic organized a round table in Bishkek dedicated to the proclamation of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust" and the next meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan. The event was attended by Turkmen students studying in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, as well as Turkmen citizens living in the republic.
The participants were introduced to the foreign policy strategy of Turkmenistan, which since independence has been built on the principles of peacefulness, good-neighborliness, equality and mutual respect. The role of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in pursuing the policy that continues the creative work of the Hero-Arkadag was emphasized.
The round table noted the legal status of the permanent neutrality of the country, which has been recognized three times by the international community and has the character of positive neutrality. Special attention was paid to the state visits of the Head of State and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The participants stressed that the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust symbolizes the recognition of Turkmenistan's special mission in strengthening mutual understanding and sustainable development in the international arena.
The event ended with the demonstration of a video about Turkmenistan's achievements in various spheres and the country's contribution to strengthening international peace and stability.
