OGT 2025 conference with participation of 300 delegates will be held in Ashgabat

The 30th International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2025" will be held in Ashgabat from October 22 to 24. More than 300 delegates from 40 countries have already confirmed participation in the event, and all exhibition spaces have been booked several months before the opening. The conference will be held under the motto "Energy. Innovations. Development." and will bring together leading experts of the energy industry. Keynote speakers will include Andrea Steiger, President of the International Gas Union IGU, Valerie Ducrot, Executive Director of the Global Gas Center, and Pulitzer Prize winner Daniel Yergin, Chairman of CERAWeek.

The program of the event will cover key issues of modern energy: global energy transition, decarbonization and application of artificial intelligence in hydrocarbon production. Special attention will be paid to Turkmenistan's major investment projects, including the development of the Galkynyş field, the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline and the development of offshore blocks in the Caspian Sea.

Separate sessions will be devoted to renewable energy, including a hybrid power plant project near Lake Altyn Asyr. S&P Global Platts, SPE and Gaffney Cline will hold expert sessions on digital transformation and underground gas storage technologies.

The conference includes a special round table "A Young Perspective: Talents, Skills and Artificial Intelligence" with the participation of HR executives from international companies Dragon Oil, Eni and Petronas. The event is designed to strengthen Turkmenistan's position as a strategic energy center of Eurasia.
