Turkmenistan will host an eco-festival organized by the US Embassy

The Turkmen city of Turkmenabat will host an eco-festival dedicated to Earth Day on April 22. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The festival is organized by the U.S. Embassy in Turkmenistan and will be held in Bitaraplyk Park. One of the honored guests of the eco-festival will be the U.S. Ambassador to Turkmenistan Matthew Climow. Representatives of the media and local authorities will also attend the event. The festival will feature a book exhibition, Makerspace, eco-activities and quizzes, vegetarian food, handicrafts exhibition, music, and master classes.

Earth Day is celebrated all over the world and is aimed at protecting the environment and popularizing careful attitude to nature. The first such festival in Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat last year.
