Turkmen athletes won 29 medals at the tournament in Estonia

Turkmen athletes won 29 medals at the non-Olympic taekwondo tournament "Balt Cup-2023" held in Estonia. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

More than 300 athletes from 8 countries took part in the competition. In addition to Turkmenistan, athletes from Ukraine, Latvia, Austria, Germany, Finland, Sweden and Estonia fought for victory in the tournament.

Turkmenistan was represented by 17 athletes - ITF taekwondo masters. Athletes from Turkmenistan became the best in the team competition. In total, the athletes brought 15 gold medals, 9 silver and 5 bronze medals to the country.

The achievements of Turkmen taekwondists at the international tournament were largely the result of the work of government programs aimed at creating better conditions for training professional athletes.
