State TV Committee of Turkmenistan participated in the Global News Forum

On July 10, Malaysia hosted the ABU Global News Forum in Kuching, where representatives of the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography took part. This is reported by the MIC of the country.

In addition to the Turkmen delegation, the event was attended by media representatives from more than 30 countries of the world. The forum included business meetings between representatives of news agencies and members of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union.

The head of the Turkmen delegation held a meeting with the Director of ABU, during which the prospects of increasing the volume of video news exchange in Asiavision were touched upon.

Turkmenistan took the 7th place in the ranking of the most active members of Asiavision. According to the head of the delegation, Turkmenistan plans to get into the top three leaders of this rating next year.
