Turkmenistan to take part in theater festival in Kazakhstan

Artists of the Turkmen theater will take part in the opening of the theater festival "Biken" in Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of People's Artist of Kazakhstan Biken Rimova. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

I International Taldykurgan Theatre Festival "Biken" will be held from September 29 to October 4 at the Taldykurgan Drama Theatre. The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhtsu Oblast Akimat and the international organization TURKSOY.

Turkmenistan will be represented at the festival by artists of the Alp Arslan National Drama Theater. The creative team of the theater will present the play "Makhtumkuli Fraghi", the main role in which will be played by Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Dovlet Khanmamedov.
