In the summer of 2024, Uzbekistan will host the Central Asian championship on cyber sports, in which the Turkmen national team will also take part. This is reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.
The team is already preparing for the upcoming competitions in such disciplines as PUBG Mobile, eFootball, Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2. In preparation for the championship, the Turkmen athletes are supported by coaches, a psychologist and a physical training specialist.
Chairman of the Electronic Sports Federation of Turkmenistan Nazar Udeumuradov noted that the Turkmen national team shows good results in the field of cyber sports in the world arena. Turkmenistan is the first country in the Central Asian region to establish a National Federation of e-Sports.
