Last night, on February 25, there were two more meetings of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League.
The first match of the past game day was held at Stamford Bridge stadium. Chelsea London hosted Bayern Munich. The match ended with a resounding victory of the guests - 0 : 3.
The first half ended with no goals scored. In the 51st minute, Serge Gnabry, who played a great combination with Robert Lewandowski, was the author of the goal. Three minutes later, another interchange with Gnabry led to Bayern's second goal. The German midfielder of Ivorian origin scored a double. In the 76th minute it came down to a rout. Robert Lewandowski, with a pass from Alfonso Davies, again forced the Chelsea goalkeeper to take the ball out of the net. But this disappointment was not the last for the Londoners. In the 84th minute, Marcos Alanso was sent off for a punch in the face.
Napoli and Barcelona met in Naples. The winner in this meeting could not be found 1 : 1.
Dries Mertens put the Neapolitans ahead in the 30th minute with a graceful strike from outside the box. In the second half, Barcelona came to their senses. A brilliant pass from Sergio Busquets cut through the dense Napoli defense, Antoine Griezmann, in turn, thanks to his brilliant technique, did not let his team down - 1 : 1. After that, the brightest moment in the confrontation was the removal of Spanish midfielder Arturo Vidal.
