On October 18, the II Theatre Festival of the member countries of the International Organization of Turkic Culture started in the Turkmen capital. This was reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
The cultural event is timed to the announcement of the Turkmen city of Anau as the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World and the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi. The theater festival united artists of the TURKSOY member countries on the Ashgabat stages.
The event is aimed at mutual cultural enrichment, strengthening the friendship of peoples and expanding cultural and humanitarian ties. Artists of theater groups of Turkic countries have an opportunity to exchange experience and improve their acting skills within the framework of the festival.
