In honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi, a literary evening was held in Astrakhan at the Caspian Institute of Maritime and River Transport named after Admiral General F.M.Apraksin. About it reports Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
The organizers were the Caspian Institute and the Turkmen school named after Makhtumkuli together with the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Russia. The participants of the event were Turkmen diplomats, representatives of the Ministry of External Relations of Astrakhan Oblast, representatives of the administration and students of the organizing university, director, teachers and students of the Makhtumkuli School.
Director of the university O. Kartashova noted the importance of maintaining and developing cooperation in scientific and educational spheres between Turkmenistan and Astrakhan Oblast.
