Turkmenistan will for the first time conduct a large-scale study of population immunity to various topical infections with the support of the Pasteur Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Rospotrebnadzor of the Russian Federation. This is reported by the Internet resource "Westiabad."
The project, funded by Russia, includes the collection of laboratory materials and free serologic testing. The same research has already been conducted in Belarus, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
Earlier, a Russian delegation headed by Director of the Pasteur Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Rospotrebnadzor A. Totolyan arrived in Turkmenistan, after which a cooperation agreement was signed in Ashgabat.
