Two secondary schools and two kindergartens in Turkmenistan will be the site for a project aimed at developing inclusive education. The project is organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan together with UNICEF. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
The Head of Inclusive Education in Portugal, Filomena Pereira, explained in detail the benefits of the project and shared her own experience, giving a number of practical recommendations for the development of inclusive education.
In accordance with the project, multidisciplinary teams for the development of inclusion were formed in the selected institutions, including directors, teachers, child specialists, medical and social workers.
Teams of specialists will create individualized curricula that will help each child integrate into the general educational space and reach his or her potential.
