Turkmenistan assists in the transit of citizens of various states leaving Iran. About 50 countries have asked the Turkmen authorities for assistance in organizing the transition of their citizens.
Turkmenistan's checkpoints have already received more than 2,000 people from various countries. Among the transit passengers are citizens of Central Asian countries, Russia, Korea, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Great Britain and other states.
The Turkmen authorities are taking all necessary measures to ensure uninterrupted transit of foreign citizens and their return home. Both the country's land corridors and Ashgabat International Airport are used to organize transit.
Turkmenistan continues to coordinate efforts to provide humanitarian assistance in the transit of citizens of various countries, ensuring their safe passage through the territory of the Republic.
