Avaza, August 6 - Arzuw.news. Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held talks with Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadegh Malvajerd in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza". This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Iranian minister arrived in the Turkmen resort to attend the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
In the course of the meeting, the sides considered the priority areas of bilateral partnership in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Special attention was paid to the work of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation co-chaired by the two ministers. They discussed key issues on the bilateral agenda.
The participants of the talks also explored the prospects of expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran.
