Turkmen students have won the international competition of projects within the framework of the World Olympiad on Robotics and Informatics, organized by the Association of Young Scientists of the Republic of Indonesia. This is reported by the publication Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
The first place in the nomination "Computer Technologies" went to representatives of the International University of Humanities and Development: B. Toiliev, B. Rejepov and Y. Batyrov. The Turkmen team presented to the jury the project "Car Rental using Artificial Intelligence", which was highly appreciated by experts.
More than 30 student teams from higher education institutions of 12 countries took part in the international competition. Among the participants were representatives of Turkmenistan, Iran, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, Mexico, South Korea, USA, Romania, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Vietnam.
The competition was held in five main areas: "Environmental Protection", "Robotics", "Physics and Engineering", "Games" and "Computer Technology". The organizers note that the event has become an important platform for strengthening friendly ties between students from different countries, developing talented young people and expanding international academic cooperation.
