Heads of State send congratulations to the President of Turkmenistan on Independence Day

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has received a number of congratulatory messages from leaders of foreign countries on the occasion of Turkmenistan's Independence Day. The letters addressed to him contain warm wishes. This is reported by the State Information Agency TDH.

President Lee Jae-myung of the Republic of Korea expressed his hope to further strengthen trust and cooperation between the two countries. King Charles III of Great Britain noted the strength of the established ties and the importance of joint efforts in addressing global environmental issues.

Germany expressed confidence in deepening the strategic partnership. President Frank-Walter Steinmeier emphasized his country's readiness to support Turkmenistan in defending international order.

Slovak President Peter Pellegrini highlighted such important initiatives of Turkmenistan as the proclamation of the International Year of Peace and Trust. He reiterated interest in the development of bilateral dialog and expressed hope for a soon face-to-face meeting.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic characterized the relations between the countries as traditional friendship based on mutual understanding. He expressed special gratitude for Turkmenistan's principled support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
