Turkmenistan takes part in the MONDIACULT-2025 forum

A delegation of Turkmenistan led by Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova is participating in the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development (MONDIACULT-2025) taking place from September 29 to October 1, 2025 in Barcelona. The Forum, which meets every four years, brings together representatives of more than 160 states to define the strategic directions of cultural policy for the coming decades. The key objective of the event is to integrate culture into the global development agenda beyond 2030.

During the thematic session on the interrelation of culture, peace and education, M. Byashimova highlighted Turkmenistan's consistent policy of preserving historical and cultural heritage and strengthening cultural dialog. The country's commitment to UNESCO principles and active promotion of international humanitarian cooperation were emphasized.

The participation of the Turkmen delegation in the conference was a significant contribution to the development of intercultural dialog and shaping the future agenda in the field of culture and sustainable development.
