Turkmenistan held a diplomatic briefing in Tashkent

The diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in Uzbekistan hosted a briefing on key events in the political life of the country on September 30, 2025. The event covered three main topics: the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, the results of the recent meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty and the outcome of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. The meeting was attended by heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of international organizations, members of the expert community, mass media, as well as Turkmen students studying in Uzbek universities.

The briefing was addressed by Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Uzbekistan Shadurdy Meredov, Director of the International Institute of Central Asia Zhavlon Vahabov and UN Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan Ms. Sabine Mahle.

The speakers unanimously recognized the significant achievements of Turkmenistan in the field of state building and international cooperation achieved under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Special emphasis was placed on the initiatives proposed by the Head of State during the 80th anniversary session of the UNGA.
