President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the State Security Council, which summarized the results of the work of law enforcement agencies for 9 months of 2025. This is reported by the state news agency TDH.
The issues discussed included strengthening defense capabilities, modernizing the material and technical base, training and ensuring the rule of law.
Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense Begench Gundogdiyev reported on the introduction of digital technologies in the army, improvement of service conditions and the results of the military parade for the 34th anniversary of independence. The President of Turkmenistan stressed the need for further modernization of the army and strict control over the conscription campaign.
Prosecutor General Begmurat Mukhamedov reported on measures to enforce the rule of law, Interior Minister Muhammet Khydyrov reported on prevention of offenses and road safety, and Supreme Court Chairman Begench Hojamgulyev reported on digitalization of the judicial system.
Minister of National Security Nazar Atagaraev reported on the introduction of a digital system in the units, and Head of the State Border Guard Service Yazgeldi Nuryev reported on the development of the infrastructure of border guard units. Minister of Adalat Merettagan Taganov, Chairman of the State Customs Service Maksat Khudaykulyev and Chairman of the State Migration Service Amanmukhammet Sazakov also spoke, presenting reports on their work and development programs.
During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan signed a number of documents, including appointments in the Prosecutor's Office and the creation of new structures in the regions.
Summarizing the results, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the priority of strengthening the defense capability and ensuring the country's stability within the framework of the defensive military doctrine.
