Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Armenia spoke about the country's key political initiatives

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia M. Ayazov presented an overview of the current directions of Turkmenistan's state policy in an interview with "ArmInfo" Armenian news agency. The conversation with correspondent Marianna Mkrtchyan touched upon the implementation of the strategy of socio-economic development and international initiatives of Ashgabat. This is reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The centerpiece of the interview was the meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan held on September 19 under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Special attention was paid to the realization of Turkmenistan's foreign policy course within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust. The Ambassador noted the significance of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries held in the Turkmen national tourist zone "Avaza".

At the end of the interview, M. Ayazov announced that a large-scale international forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Confidence and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality would be held on December 12. The event is intended to become an important stage in promoting the country's peacekeeping initiatives in the international arena.
