Turkmenistan and Russia strengthen educational cooperation at an exhibition in Ashgabat

The international exhibition "Health Care, Education and Sports in the Renaissance Era of a New Era of a Powerful State", timed to coincide with the Day of Health Care Workers, opened in Ashgabat. The key aspect of the forum was educational cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Representative of Rossotrudnichestvo Yulia Zaitseva reported about the high interest of Turkmen youth in Russian higher education. More than 2.5 thousand applications are registered annually for 500 government quotas. Medicine, information technology and cyber security remain the most popular specialties, followed by economics, pedagogy and linguistics.

A program of additional professional education in Russian language is planned for the 2026-2027 academic year, which will expand opportunities for specialists who use Russian in their professional activities.
