Bangkok (Thailand) became the center of the online conference of the VII Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development under the auspices of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). The Turkmen side was led by our country's Minister of Finance and Economy.
The delegates of the forum paid special attention to such goals of sustainable development as increasing well-being and creating the potential for personal fulfillment, transformation to a stable economic system, strengthening food stability, ensuring decarbonization of the energy sector and providing equal opportunities in the energy-saving sector, promoting sustainable development of megacities and rural areas, environmental security.
Delegates also supported the development of a dialogue on intensifying the implementation of key sustainable development issues in the Asia-Pacific region in the form of a selection of key response activities at various governance levels.
