Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan deepen cooperation

Economy Ministers of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have agreed to expand trade and economic ties and deepen cooperation between the three countries. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the International Information Center of Turkmenistan.

The corresponding statement was made by Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov on Thursday in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza" on the results of a trilateral meeting in the format of "Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan".

According to the Azerbaijani minister, the new format of interaction opens up additional opportunities for the development of relations in all directions. The ministers aim to expand trade and economic and transportation ties, as well as cooperation in the energy sector on behalf of the leaders of the countries.

Jabbarov expressed confidence in the adoption of joint statements on the results of the meeting. The initiative should bring the economies of the three states closer together, strengthen transportation interconnectivity and energy cooperation.

The Minister also emphasized the importance of developing humanitarian ties between the countries of the region.
