The Central building of Turkmenistan's oil and gas complex hosted a report meeting, during which the results of the fuel and energy sector for the first half of 2020 were summarized. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers Myratgeldi Meredov.
During the event the key sides of realization of tasks, which were set before the enterprises of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan during the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country, which was held on July 3 of this year, were considered.
At the very beginning of the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Meredov emphasized the unfavorable global epidemiological situation. In this regard, in hostels and institutions of the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan, sanitary and preventive rules should be strictly adhered to. This will contribute to maintaining a favorable situation in the country.
State Minister and Chairman of Turkmengaz B. Amanov, Head of Turkmengeologiya State Corporation M. Rozyev, Head of Turkmennebit State Company G. Baigeldyev, General Director of Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company CJSC M. Pirliev, Acting General Director of Turkmen refinery G. Gagaev and persons in charge of enterprises of the complex were also invited to participate in the meeting.
During the meeting the reports of the heads of the fuel and energy complex on the progress of comprehensive works on the development of such large fields as Dovletabat and Galkynysh were heard. The issues of increasing the volume of production of raw materials at such existing fields as Altyguyy, Uzynada and Goturdepe were also touched upon.
The meeting participants also reported on progress in the construction of the Turkmen section of the TAPI gas pipeline, on the implementation of projects in cooperation with Yugneftegaz and Tatneft JSC. They also analyzed the level of gasification of the population, development of investments in oil and gas production and blue fuel, attraction of foreign investments into the fuel and energy sector on mutually beneficial terms and introduction of modern technologies.
Concluding the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister wished the participants success in all endeavors, noting that every manager should tirelessly improve his activities to achieve maximum efficiency in solving the tasks set for the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan by the leader of the nation, Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov.
