On March 1, during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Minister T. Atakhallyev presented a report on the results of the agro-industrial complex for the first two months of 2024. This was reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
For the agro-industrial complex of the country the growth of production volume amounted to 104.21 %, including the Ministry of Agriculture - 124.2 %, the Ministry of Environmental Protection - 123.5 %, the State Committee of Water Management - 123.2 %, SC "Türkmenpagta" - 101,6 %, State Association "Türkmengallaönümleri" - 109.5 %, State Association "Türkmenobahyzmat" - 106.7 %, State Association of Food Industry - 100.5 %, State Association of Livestock and Poultry Industry - 100 %, State Association "Türkmen atlary" - 101.9 %. Investments were utilized by 230.4%.
Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan focused the attention of the Deputy Prime Minister on the importance of modernizing the country's water supply system with the introduction of modern technologies for rational consumption of natural resources.
