Participants of the Central Asian Tennis Championship among children under 12 years old are arriving in the capital of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The competitions will be held in the tennis complex of the Olympic City of Ashgabat from June 5 to 9 this year. Turkmenistan has already welcomed delegations from Kazakhstan, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. Representatives of the International and Asian Tennis Federations arrived in Ashgabat on June 3, and delegations from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on June 4.
The date of the draw for the Central Asian Under-12 Tennis Championship will be announced later.
This is the second time Turkmenistan is hosting this tournament. For the first time the Central Asian Championship in Ashgabat was held 4 years ago, when the Turkmen national team took the third place.
