Turkmenistan determined the champion in basketball among men's teams

The Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports successfully completed the national basketball championship among men's teams. From October 10 to 14, eight teams representing various departments, educational institutions and regions fought for the title of champions of Turkmenistan. It is reported MIC.

The Talyp Sport team of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports won the tournament, confirming the high level of training of students of the sports university. In a tense final confrontation, they managed to defeat the Ashgabat Basketball Club. The team of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan (MGSC) won the bronze medals, having surpassed the "Binagyar" team of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction in the match for the third place.

The tournament demonstrated significant progress in the development of basketball in the country. The success of student teams deserves special attention, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the integration of sport into the higher education system of Turkmenistan.
