The International Scientific Conference "Legacy of universal significance of the outstanding thinker and healer of the East Abu Ali ibn Sina" is being held in Ashgabat in hybrid format. This is reported by the Telegram channel of the online publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".
The forum, which will end on October 12, is attended by scientists and professors, doctors of sciences, representatives of educational and health care spheres. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov's address to the participants of the event emphasized the great importance of theoretical and practical study of the legacy of Abu Ali ibn Sina (Avicenna).
As it was noted during the speeches of the conference speakers, the priority directions of modernization of the health care system of Turkmenistan are popularization of healthy lifestyle, improvement of the quality of first aid, development of the institute of family doctors, improvement of the quality of medical services, interrelation of science and medicine, and improvement of qualification of medical workers.
