In honor of the 100th anniversary of Turkmen artist Izzat Klychev, a personal exhibition of his paintings was opened at the Exhibition Center of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The exhibition included more than 200 paintings and graphic works by the People's Artist of Turkmenistan, as well as illustrations to Turkmen folk tales. The paintings were provided for the exposition by the funds of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, as well as collected from museums and personal collection of the artist. The first floor of the exposition is occupied by Klychev's works telling about his travels around the world, while the second floor houses a portrait gallery of paintings by the talented artist.
The opening ceremony featured classical Turkmen and European works performed by musicians of the Tahir Ataev Orchestra and People's Artist of Turkmenistan Hasan Mammadov.
