A new cultural and park complex will open in Ashgabat

During the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Minister for Culture M. Mammadova presented a report on the preparations for the opening of the cultural and park zone of Makhtumkuli Fraghi in Ashgabat. This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

In addition, a monument to Turkmen poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi is planned to be unveiled in the cultural and park complex. According to the order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, sculptures of outstanding foreign writers and poets will also be erected in the park. The Makhtumkuli Fraghi Cultural and Park Complex will be commissioned on the occasion of celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen poet.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to consider sketch designs for future sculptures.
