Deputy Prime Minister N. Amannepesov presented information about the planned sports events on the occasion of World Bicycle Day at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the online publication "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
A mass bicycle race will be held in Ashgabat on June 3. From May 31 to June 3, the Turkmen national cycling team will take part in a bicycle marathon on a special route on a section of the high-speed highway Mary-Tedzhen-Ashgabat, 335 km long.
The national cycling track championship "Siz bilen sportda gadamlar batly, Ak geljege ýörelgämiz Arkadag" will be held from May 27 to June 3 at the "Velotrack" sports complex in the Olympic City of Ashgabat. After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a high organizational level of sports events planned in the capital and velayats of the country.
