Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan B. Atdayev presented a report on measures to strengthen ties with foreign countries at a meeting of the Government. This is reported by the online publication "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
It was noted that Turkmenistan is preparing for the 12th session of the Joint Turkmen-Austrian Commission and the business meeting to be held within its framework. During the events scheduled for June 4-5, 2024, the Turkmen side will be familiarized with the developments of Austrian companies.
During the meeting it is planned to discuss issues of further development of relations between the countries in such sectors as innovative technologies in industry and engineering, energy, renewable energy sources. Joint projects in the field of ecology will be considered. It is planned to discuss topical issues of partnership in the spheres of waste management, construction, transportation, services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and processing of agricultural products. A number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed.
