An ice replica of the Ashgabat Marriage Palace was made as part of the 26th "Big World of Ice and Snow" festival in the Chinese city of Harbin. This is reported by the online edition "Westiabad."
Skillful craftsmen accurately recreated the original Marriage Palace of the Turkmen capital, having worked out in detail the ornamentation on the facade and the octagonal cube. The ice copy of the Palace was included in the exposition as one of the sights of the Olympic Council of Asia member states.
The ice exposition was opened in the park with the area of 1 million square meters. The whole space of the snow city is divided into 9 sections, each of which presents copies of famous architectural objects of 42 countries from 3 regions of Asia.
