International Informatics Olympiad was held at Ashgabat University

The I International Open Olympiad in the online format on informatics was held at the International University of Oil and Gas named after Y. Kakaev on the Moodle platform. This is reported in the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".

In addition to Turkmen students, young people from Russia, Belarus, China, Azerbaijan, Korea, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Romania and Germany took part in the Olympiad. In total, more than 450 students from more than 50 universities took part in the Olympiad.

The organization of the Olympiad, as well as the development of the Moodle platform, was carried out by specialists and teachers of MUNiG. Questions for the Olympiad were compiled from various sections of information technologies.

The winners of the Olympiad were 164 amateurs of informatics: 9 people were awarded first places, 51 - second places and 104 students took third places. Of the total number of winners, 94 were Turkmen students. The winners of the team scoring were also determined, including the teams of Turkmenistan, China and Belarus.
