Literary evening to the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli Fraghi was held in Baku

A literary evening dedicated to the three hundredth anniversary of the birth of the great thinker, poet and philosopher of the East Makhtumkuli Fraghi was held in the capital of Azerbaijan on Thursday, February 16, 2023. The evening was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan together with the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the State University of Oil and Industry of Azerbaijan. The participants of the literary event were students of higher educational institutions of the country, representatives of creative and scientific circles, teachers and connoisseurs of the legendary thinker's work.

During the evening, the works of Makhtumkuli Fraghi were discussed, bearing high artistic value and poetic wisdom combined with oriental worldview. The participants of the evening also exchanged opinions about the life and creative path of the famous personality.
