Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov meets with Alexey Overchuk in Ashgabat

Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Alexei Overchuk - Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, who arrived in Ashgabat on an official visit. This was reported by the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today".

The parties noted excellent prospects for continuing mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan in the trade and economic sphere, in the agro-industrial complex, transportation, communication and logistics spheres. The dialog also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the countries in the field of environmental security and water management.

The sides paid attention to the discussion of humanitarian cooperation, in particular, health care. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov drew the interlocutor's attention to the high potential of cooperation between the countries in this area due to the construction of new medical facilities in Turkmenistan.
