Delegates from Turkmenistan participate in the Forum on Central Asian Youth Issues

Delegates from Turkmenistan take part in the forum "Youth for Sustainable Future of Central Asia", which started on October 28 in Almaty (Kazakhstan). This is reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.

The delegates include employees of various agencies and government organizations, students and cultural figures. The forum, which brought together representatives of five Central Asian countries, discusses issues of preventing extremism and countering involvement in extremist organizations.

The participants of the event emphasize empowerment of the younger generation, addressing employment issues, youth entrepreneurship and the role of the private sector of the economy in it.

The event is a regional initiative of the United Nations Development Programme, with financial support from the Government of Japan.
